Note: This handy chart compares major NYC and national menswear labels by length and price. All Information on tie lengths/prices was collected Jan-April 2008. In almost all cases I measured ties in-store by hand, usually five or more of each brand to determine average length. In the few cases where I could not visit a store, length reported is according to info obtained from a phone call or from the company Web site. Remember that lengths reported are for off-the-rack, never-worn ties (ties, especially silk, stretch as you wear them). To see my other posts on ties, click here.
