When the cushions finally wore out and the fabric (which wore like iron) faded, I looked everywhere for a replacement. Nothing I found matched the size and quality, so I had it reupholstered. Only issue is that I had a boyfriend who was 6'2", and it wasn't comfortable for him... complained constantly. So, I dumped him. I now have a husband who fits me and my sofa! I have found furniture scaled to my short stature, including a great timeless style that I purchased at Bloomingdales decades ago. I tried all of the furniture stores near Pittsburgh and I didn't find anything that really worked. Even a place that does custom couches didn't have an option for a shorter seat depth. That was frustrating since their chairs were amazing, yet the couches were too deep. I ended up getting an Ikea Ektorp, since it was the best option available. The seat depth isn't quite short enough for me, but it works with an extra pillow, and my feet are on the floor. I wish there was a Room & Board near me.
